Francis Fest 2008 ~ September 26 – October 4
Francis Fest is just six weeks away. This year’s festival includes several additional events and promises to showcase the charisms of Francis in the Lakeshore area. This year we will have a “Faces of Francis” Art Exhibit at the Rahr-West Museum beginning on Tuesday, October 1st. We will celebrate Oktoberfest with the city of Manitowoc, by cosponsoring an Oktoberfest/Francis Fest Parade on Saturday, October 4th. After the parade the free Francis Fest Dance will be held in downtown Manitowoc. For parade entry forms click on "Francis Fest 2008" to the left, located under documents. Let the festivities begin!
Be a part of the excitement by selecting some of the ways that you can share and serve St. Francis of Assisi:
St. Francis Medieval Festival Raffle Baskets
Calling all Lords, Ladies, Children and Families of St. Francis of Assisi Parish!
Help the parish community get ready to celebrate our patron’s Feast Day by putting together a themed raffle basket to be raffled at the Medieval Festival, on Sunday, September 28th. Perhaps your family would like to donate a themed basket or maybe all of the members of St. Francis of Assisi Parish who live on your block would like to be involved in putting together a basket. Each year the baskets are so creative and festival goers are always anxious to purchase raffle tickets to take one of these wonderful baskets home with them. Listed below are some ideas, but use your creativity to put together a basket of your choice. All proceeds from the themed basket raffle will benefit St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
